Family Policy Councils
Family Policy Councils
In 34 states, a network of Family Policy Councils (FPC’s) has been established as pro-family advocates. As leading pro-family groups in the country, the FPC’s are initiated by and associated with Focus on the Family.
While enjoying a relational association with Focus, Cornerstone Family Council is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which is supported entirely by the generosity of people who seek to uphold the traditional family.

“As we consider the public policy successes of the past year, we are very appreciative of the Family Policy Councils (FPCs) that were so effective during the lead-up to the recent elections. These independent, state-based organizations have become powerful forces for the values and moral principles that matter most. Their influence is evident in state capitols, in the media, and in grassroots lobbying among the citizenry.
FPCs were especially effective in the battle to protect traditional marriage. They were instrumental in nearly all 13 states that passed constitutional amendments defending marriage as being exclusively between a man and a woman. And now, the Family Policy Councils will be vital in securing support for amendments in additional states, and in their eventual ratification.
Focus on the Family is proud to be associated with these organizations. We rely on them for leadership and wisdom on countless state and local issues affecting families. But they need your help. FPCs depend on the good people of their respective states to provide the resources necessary for their work. If you are already supporting a Family Policy Council in your state, let me thank you for helping to make a difference! If you’re not yet involved, please consider putting your shoulder to the wheel. It’s a great investment for your kids, your grandkids, and your country.”
