Abortion Information from Alliance Defense Fund
Situation
In 1973, the United States Supreme Court ruled, in Roe v. Wade, that there was a constitutional “right” to abortion. Since that decision, more than 40 million unborn babies have been murdered. This tragic decision was the result of a deliberate strategy by groups such as the ACLU and Planned Parenthood to set a series of legal precedents which would lead to the legalization of abortion. Sadly, for those 40 million unborn children, those who showed up to fight the legal arguments of these groups were either poorly trained or severely under funded.
Context
Now more than 30 years later, the Alliance Defense Fund is reclaiming the right to life through our strategy of training, coordination, funding, and litigation. Significant God-given victories have been the result, as we strive for the day when all life is once again legally defended, protected, and affirmed.
